Burt Munro was an amazing character who developed a 1920 Indian scout motorcycle until it achieved 183.586 mph (295.39 km/h) on the Bonneville salt flats in 1967. Burt was an extremely eccentric man and a driven one, but with tons of natural charm. His escapades on and off two wheels make a story that is almost impossible to put down. Just when you think you have heard everything, he does something even more outrageous. It is an entertaining and astonishing story that will please every reader, especially fans of vintage motorcycles. A great book to complement the movie "The World's Fastest Indian" featuring Sir Anthony Hopkins!
