men who drove them by Joel Wakely Code: 38221 Format: Paperback / 130 pages Publication date: 01/03/2016 Availability: Usually dispatched within 1 business day Price: AU $34.95

The Legends book is centred on ten early model Holden 48-215 that represent part of the history of Holden in Australia, combined together with several Legends race drivers who started out their early day’s racing in a 48-215 model Holden. The story also features, among others, my Appendix J, the BP Boomerang Service Station sponsored car that is recognized as a unique part of Australian motor sport history driven by Spencer Martin in 1963 and Barry Seton in 1964/5. Both drivers are recognized as Legends of motor sport in Australia. To make this book interesting and different from many others the story line drifts into Motor Sport ,covers other related events and tells in great detail the engineering together with the development challengers we experienced to make and maintain our race winning car, all back in the 60’s. The book also features 60 illustrations with many in colour and it has received favourable comments.
